In case you haven’t heard, I co-host a weekly podcast for CBS’s podcasting network, Play.It. It’s called Parenting Bytes, and it’s about raising kids in the digital age. I LOVE this job. I love my cohosts, I love the topics we cover, I love to talk. I even love the sound of my own voice. And I would like very much to keep this job, so can I ask a favor? We could really use some ratings and reviews and subscriptions on iTunes. In order to survive, we need to get noticed. Ratings and reviews will help iTunes notice – and hopefully feature – us!
Our latest episode was an especially fun one to record, because we were joined in the studio by a hugely popular podcaster and former pro wrestler named Taz. His podcast, called the Human Podcast Machine, is the most popular podcast on our network. Getting him to guest on our show was huge. But he’s the dad of a teenager, so we knew he’d be a great fit for our Father’s Day episode!
We talked to Taz about being on the road when his son was little, what he likes to receive for Father’s Day, and what he once did when a fan tried to take a picture of his son. We also have some Father’s Day gift recommendations of our own, and our “Bytes of the Week” – a recommendation from each of us. Listen in – it’s a fun episode!
As always, I’ve compiled the articles and products we talk about on the show so that you don’t have to worry about writing them down. You’re welcome!
Welcome to our Father’s Day episode, with special guest (and fellow Play.It podcaster) Taz!! Rebecca Levey (KidzVuz.com), Amy Oztan (SelfishMom.com), and Nancy Friedman (KidzVuz.com, FromHipToHousewife.com) are in the studio with former pro wrestler — and current dad of a teenager — Taz, for a conversation about parenting teenagers, Father’s Day, and what it was like being on the road when his son was younger. Plus our own Father’s Day gift recommendations, and our Bytes of the week!
